Hand Dipped Candles

Hand dipped candles are made by repeatedly dipping a stand of cotton wick into molten wax to achieve a natural taper. The technique dates back to the 15th century. 

The tapered candles may be as tall, thin, short or thick as a chandler wants them to be.
